We assist in the management of security risks in all forms. We provide advice, conduct audits, deliver training and conduct security risk assessments for a number of operations, including those that have obligations under the Maritime Transport and Offshore Facilities Security Act and Security of Critical Infrastructure Act.
SECURITY RISK ASSESSMENT
Address your obligations under the Maritime Transport and Offshore Facilities Security Act 2003, or your possible obligations under Security of Critical Infrastructure Act, by having us conduct a Security Risk Assessment in line with ISO 31000:2018 and AS HB 167:2006.
MARITIME SECURITY TRAINING
We can come to you and deliver PFSO Training modelled on the International Maritime Organisation’s 3.21 course and contextualised for the Australian legislative and commercial environment. Whether it be one to one training or a class of 20, we’ll work with you to meet your needs.
EXERCISE PLANNING AND DELIVERY
Our licensed security advisors and associates create and deliver desktop or live exercises that are designed to test your security plans. Many industries have a legislated obligation to conduct security specific exercises in addition to those mandated by WH&S legislation, and we specialise in designing and facilitating those exercises for you.
AUDIT AND COMPLIANCE
Imperium Global specialises in the auditing of Security Plans (particularly Maritime Security Plans) and our advisors have extensive experience in auditing operations across Australia. Our Advisors have Integrated Management Systems and Information Security Management Systems Auditor qualifications from Price Waterhouse Coopers.
SECURITY PLANNING SERVICES
Our expertise is in the development of Maritime Security Plans to meet the requirements of the Maritime Transport and Offshore Facilities Security Act 2003 but we can develop security planning for operations in any sector.
A Security Plan must be comprehensive enough to achieve effective security outcomes and satisfy regulatory requirements, but also flexible enough for use in the face of an evolving operational and security landscape. A well-drafted plan will meet legislative requirements but will not be unduly onerous – there’s no point creating a rod for your own back.
We can conduct the risk assessment, draft the plan and develop the supporting documents required for the submission of your Security Plan.
OUR SECURITY TEAM
Imperium Global’s director Craig Vaughan holds a diploma in Security & Risk Management as well as auditing qualifications and Security Advisor licenses.
Craig has worked in the security industry for 15 years with security management roles in the hospitality and resources sectors. He has also held the position of Security Manager and Port Facility Security Officer for cruise shipping and other port facility operations. Craig has Advanced Security Risk Management training from the Attorney General’s Department’s Protective Security Training College Canberra and has completed Cyber Security Risk and Strategy training at RMIT.
